It's Tuesday!

Yes, it's Tuesday again.

I'm not sure how these weeks manage to whiz by so quickly, but they do, so here's another update on Tess's blanket.  I'm up to 46 squares (it will be 48 by the end of the evening) and still having fun with it.  Go and visit Gingerbread Girl's blog for further details and to see others' fabulous Tuesday updates :)

It's still looking pretty tiny on this bed, although it is a king single, so slightly larger than a standard single bed.

And just cause I can, here's a pic of Eddie, one of my two beautiful cats. He loves climbing in baskets and boxes - and this time took advantage of me taking my crochet yarns out of my knitting bag to sort them out and jumped right on in!

I also snapped a pic of my littlest one, helping to make an omelette, with my 11 year old in the background making himself a miso soup! Action stations in the kitchen ;-).

  5. Gorgeous blanket, it's growing so beautifully.
I love your cat, I try and avoid mine when crocheting because she constantly sticks her claws in it. That's one of the rare occasions when I am tempted to swear!

  6. Your blanket is looking lovely, the White is so fresh. It won't be long before you cover your whole bed, it is amazing how quickly they grow!

We have two cats and they both find new places to sit in. We have a grand piano, which last week the tuner left the lid up on, a few days later I had to grapple with one of the cats who wanted to sleep in there....not a good idea!

    Your kids look lovely!

  11. Gorgeous blanket. I'm not even contemplating spreading out my meagre pile of squares on my bed. I think it's too soon for that! I have a cat that does exactly the same. I emptied a small woven wicker type basket and she jumped straight in to size it up. Couldn't quite squish herself in it enough to lie down so it seems to have been rejected! Hope you managed to reclaim your knitting bag!
